Hargate Hall

Hargate Hall is a fine and very substantial country house set in over seven acres of parkland and is situated near Buxton, right in the centre of the Peak District National Park. Hargate Hall is not run as a hotel. When you book Hargate for your Civil Wedding Venue it will become your house for the weekend, where you can get married and then celebrate with your friends and family. There are no ‘one size fits all’ wedding packages.

Weddings are family occasions, and all your guests, of every generation, should feel comfortable with the venue. Children and babies are more than welcome at Hargate hall and there are facilities here to ensure that they always have a great time.

Tissington Hall

Tissington Hall is an intimate and romantic setting for the most important day of your life.

Their licence allows couples to marry in the Main Hall, a beautiful stone flagged Jacobean ballroom with beautiful Gothic fireplace and Chippendale furniture or the Drawing Rooms on the first floor. If the weather is fine, it is also possible to get married outside on the Terrace, with the wedding ceremony taking place under the Arcade.

Celebrate afterwards with a champagne reception in the stunning rose garden, followed by a wedding reception and evening party in our beautiful new marquee, sited in the arboretum.

Alison House

Alison House is a Georgian style House built by the Arkwright Family and set in the Derwent Valley world Heritage site .Set in seven acres of grounds with beautiful gardens in a peaceful setting, yet only a short walk from Cromford and the cable cars and attractions of Matlock Bath.

With an AA 4 * Guest accommodation rating all 16 rooms have en-suite facilities with televisions and Tea and coffee facilities with free wireless internet access in all areas.

Alison House is the ideal location for your Wedding, where there are three rooms licensed for the ceremony, all nestled in the heart of  the beautiful Derbyshire Dales.

There is an informal bar and Lounge with a elegant dining room overlooking the gardens and you can if you want have a marquee in the gardens.
